Our Charges
Our research charge costs are £29.99 per hour. This includes the presentation of your results in a report with all searches that have been undertaken and what our findings were. It also includes a presentation tree so you can see, pictorially, how your ancestors fit in with each other.
You are welcome to pay for just one hour or two and see how satisfied you are with the findings and report produced. If you are, you can pay us for further hours to continue – it is entirely up to you.
If we find nothing or are unable to establish your ancestral lines, your money will be refunded and we will send you a report detailing where we have looked and what the problems were. However, this is very rare.
We will research whatever you want us to research – whether that is just looking at the line carrying your surname or whether it is both lines of your parents then all lines of your four grandparents and so on. Alternatively, we are happy to start off with both your parents and your grandparents and continue with whichever lines appear to be yielding the best results that enable us to get further back with less time paid for.
We will endeavour to undertake the research within four weeks but will report back to you weekly.
The only additional cost to the research charges are for civil registration certificates (ie birth, marriage or death). The amount that will need to be ordered will depend on what you are able to supply us yourself and how far back in time these take us. We are happy to advice you on this in advance and will always discuss this with you before ordering anything.
